The governing body of figure skating, Skate Canada told the National Post a celebration  “got out of hand,” and that “skaters didn’t hush up when hotel staff confronted them over a noise complaint.

According to the National Post, “Mike Slipchuk with Skate Canada says police sent those involved back to their rooms, adding that one man had his cheek cut in the melee but that the injury was minor and didn’t require medical attention.”

The upcoming movie will be based on Armstrong’s former teammate Tyler Hamilton’s book “The Secret Race,” in which Hamilton details of “the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program” in all of sports.

An insider told The Sun, ”Most sports films end in an inspirational victory. It’s hard to work out what the ending would be.”

This would be the second Armstrong project Damon has been linked to. Damon was in line to play Armstrong in the now-dropped Sony adaptation of Armstrong’s memoir, It’s “Not About the Bike,” which was to be produced by Bourne franchise’s Frank Marshall.

Damon’s representatives denied the actor will narrate the upcoming Alex Gibney directed Armstrong documentary.

The woman’s two-man bobsled team won bronze at the Vancouver Olympics, a feat Jones never accomplished in her two Lympic Games. Despite being the favorite in Beijing 2008, Jones hit 9/10 hurdle in the 100-M hurdles and finished fourth in London. At the bobsled push championship, Jones finished seventh.

Lance Armstrong has been banned

The disgraced cyclist was banned from the sport after her chose not to contest performance enhancing charges against him by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. Under USA Track & Field rules, banned athletes in other sports are prohibited from running the Chicago, Boston and New York Marathon.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Pinkowski learned Armstrong was interested in running the Chicago or New York Marathon on Thursday at a charity operations meeting before deciding with New York and Boston race director that they would uphold the WADA rules.

Despite not being allowed to run the Chicago Marathon, Livestrong will continue its association with the race. “They are one of our strongest charities,” Pinkowski said.  “They will have 250 participants this year.  We will continue to support the charity and its efforts.”

DiMeglio earned a roster position after summer workouts and the confidence of her teammates. In an article in the New York Times, Paladins’ starting quarterback, John Franklin, said. “We’d be warming up, and people would stop over and wait for her to throw to see if she could play, and then they’d walk away like, ‘Oh, they have a girl, and she’s for real.’ ”

While throwing came naturally to DiMeglio, she had to learn to tackle from the junior varsity team.

“Everybody says, ‘What happens when she gets hit?’ ” Gatewood said. “This isn’t a knock on Erin, but she’s bigger than 10 kids on my team. I have a wide receiver that weighs 25 pounds less than her. And the pads she wears are the same as the pads he wears.”

In the United State high school students javelin is not a track and field event. In 2007,  a French long jumper was injured at a track meet in Rome but survived.

The Olympics maybe over but Ryan Lochte never stops training. This time racing Prince Harry at Wynn hotel’s XS Nightclub in Vegas at 3am. Earlier this year, Prince Harry raced Usain Bolt when he visited Jamaica.

Augusta National chairman Billy Payne said,“This is a joyous occasion.” Payne’s comments are in contrast to that of prior chairman Hootie Johnson, who lost Masters television sponsorships in 2003 and 2004 for the club’s female membership refusal.

Along with Rice, South Carolina financier Darla Moore will wear the club’s famous green jackets when Augusta opens in October. Rice an avid golfer, was appointed to the U.S. Golf Association’s nominating committee in November 2010.  The nominating committee is responsible for determining the 15-member Executive Committee in charge of all USGA decisions.

“I have visited Augusta National on several occasions and look forward to playing golf, renewing friendships and forming new ones through this very special opportunity,” Rice said. “I have long admired the important role Augusta National has played in the traditions and history of golf. Rice and Moore join Augusta notable members, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Tiger Woods.

But Lochte isn’t just interested in the Bachelor for the screen time, before the Olympics, the 28-year old told the New York Times, ”I’m over the whole college scene.” Because when you are two years shy of 30 and can’t find true love on a college campus turn to reality TV.
