I couldn’t believe that I was reading about a football banquet when the reports came out the next day. I can’t even imagine any one of my coaches crying at a banquet let alone listening to Josh Groban, are you kidding me!?! If I was a player at that banquet the only reason I would be standing up would be to walk out of that room and into a different football program. I would want to be on a team with a coach who is at least 40 and A MAN!!! Not a coach that recruits middle school sized football players and gets ripped on by Josh Groban. Dave Brandon should have sacked up, cut the revival music, shinned the spot light on Harbaugh and said “Jimmy welcome home.”
