Dolphins teammates and Lanford searched the field on their hands and knees for the lost jewel. Lanford said he forgot to take out the earring before practice.

While Langford did not say how much the earring was worth, jewelers estimated the value being at 50,000.

Langford was thankful for his teammates who even raked the grass in search of the diamond saying, “”I’ve got a great group of guys out here helping me – family-type guys.”
