The Vancouver Riot kissing couple have been idenfitied as Scott Jones and Alex Thomas. According to the boy’s mother Megan Jones said, “It is something he would do, that’s our boy. He has always lived in his own world, he’s special like that. He doesn’t always connect with what going on around him.”

Jones, who is 29 and a standout comedian, moved to Vancouver six months ago and began dating Thomas shortly after. Writting on his Facebook, Jones said, “Classic! This was shortly after the riot police run over the top of us and naturally Alex needed some comforting.”

Despite people saying the picture was staged, the couple insist they were caught up in the moment, and it has now become one of the most famous makeout scenes of all time…. move over VJ Day in Times Square couple!
