Mets go for Gaga for Wright

The Mets’ are capitalizing on Lady Gaga’s appearance at a Met’s game when she flipped off photographers. Now the Met’s are using the Gaga controversy to get fans to vote for star David Wright for the MLB All-Star Game.

On Wednesday, the Mets will host “Go Gaga for Wright’ night, where the first 20,000 fans with receive a blue foam finger telling fans to use the “right finger” and click online to vote for Wright in the All-Star Game.

Lady Gaga fueding with Jerry Seinfeld over the Mets

It appears as if thejerseychaser.com is turning into LadyGaga.com, but diehard Mets fan Jerry Seinfeld has picked a feud with Lady Gaga and it involves his beloved team.
The Mets may be capitalizing on Lady Gaga’s appearance at Citi Field but Seinfeld is calling out the singer for flipping off Mets fans.
Seinfeld was on New York Sports Talk Radio WFAN and was pretty upset that Mets front office allowed Lady Gaga into his private box after she flipped off photographers at a Mets game back on June 10.
Originally, the comedian released a statement saying his family “took an optimistic view of Lady Gaga’s gesture that she wants the Mets to be in first place as badly as they do.” But today, Seinfeld told WFAN: “I wish her the best. You take one a off that, you’ve got gag… this woman is a jerk. I hate her. I can’t believe they put her in my box, which I paid for … You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we’re living in now? It’s pathetic. And why is she giving the finger? How old is the finger? How’d it even get to be the finger? Somewhere along the line somebody decided this is the bad finger.”
Seinfeld is probably just jealous Gaga is a Yankees fan.

Lady Gaga cheer on the Yankees

Last week, thejerseychaser.com posted pictures of Lady Gaga at the Mets game. On Friday, Gaga took in the Mets Yankees game, this time wearing a Yankees jersey. Before the game, Gaga Tweeted: “I just kicked my ass in the gym, time to wash it down with an ice cold NY beer.”

Although the Yankees lost 4-0, Gaga went back into the Yankees clubhouse to greet the players including Alex Rodriguez. Gaga smooth-talked her way passed security drinking Jameson and groping her chest over her jersey. Yankees GM Brian Cashman was upset about the unapproved visitor. When asked by a Post reporter, Cashman said, “What? I didn’t know that.”

According to the NY Post, Lady Gaga has now been banned from the New York Yankees clubhouse. Let’s see if this banned goes off easier than the steroid ban.

Update: Gaga is not banned… yet. GM Brian Cashman has come out with this statement: “Celebrities aren’t banned. If Michael Jordan showed up here, he would have access (to the clubhouse) but not after a loss. There is just a time and place it is not her fault.”

Lady Gaga at the Mets game

Lady Gaga attended yesterday’s Mets/ Padres game in a black bra and leather jacket. Gaga is a longtime Yankees fan but took in the Mets game while in town for her sister’s high school graduation.

Gaga sat in the stands like the normal fan… well behind home plate, before her and her entourage moved up to a luxury suite. When Gaga was shown on the big screen she greeted her fans by flipping the bird. Lady Gaga was also seen kissing a female companion, and oddly enough it was not as big of a deal as when Miley Cyrus kissed a girl on Britain’s Got Talent.

The Mets played a doubleheader and lost their first game (the one that Gaga was in attendance for) 4-2 but won the night game 3-0.
