But the story dominating the headlines was not who signed where… but whose mother signed where! Floyd Ravens, a Reserve’s East St. John High Schoo senior, was caught in a controversy after his mom forged his letter of intent to attend Ole Miss.

Ravens was unaware his mom faxed in his LOI to Mississippi and faxed his own letter to Texas A&M. According to the four-star cornerback: “Long story short, my mom thought she was helping me out. I wasn’t home and she sent it in. I never told her I had changed my mind to Texas A&M. I forgive her for it. It was an honest mistake.”

Looks like mom doesn’t always know best…
