Alicia Keys will sing National Anthem at Super Bowl

While the teams playing in the Super Bowl have not yet been decided, at least fans know who will sing the National Anthem. According to the Associated Press, Alicia Keys will sing the National Anthem for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.

The 13-time Grammy award winner is no stranger to singing at sporting championships, performing “Empire State of Mind” with Jay-Z after the Yankees won the World Series in 2009. This is the third time Keys has performed at the Super Bowl. In 2005, Keys sang “America the Beautiful” before Super Bowl XXXIX and performed at the Super Bowl XLII Pregame Show in 2008. Keys is a close friend of Beyonce, who is headlining the halftime show.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady give birth to baby girl Vivian

Congratulations to Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, who gave birth to a baby girl. Vivian Lakle was born at the Brady’s home in Boston and is the couple’s second child. Older brother Benjamin turns three this Saturday, and Brady’s son John, 5 with Bridget Moynahan.

Gisele announced on her Facebook page: “We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel. She is healthy and full of life. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings.”

Brady gets to spend an extra day with his daughter since the New England Patriots do not play until Monday. The 9-3 Patriots face the Houston Texans, 11-1, which the best ever record between two teams on Monday Night Football.

Tim Tebow and Camilla Belle getting serious

Things may not be going well for Tim Tebow and the 5-7 Jets on the field but off the field things are getting serious between the backup quarterback and girlfriend Camilla Belle. In Touch is reporting Belle has the stamp of approval from Tebow’s parents.

In the exclusive story, a source reveals: “His mom, Pam, likes that Camilla comes from a strict Catholic family, and loves that she does so much work with a children’s charity. Pam thinks Camilla could be the girl Tim has been waiting for.”

While the couple was first photographed just last month in Tebow’s native Jacksonville, they began seeing each other in May after meeting at the Met Gala.

Nick Lachey kicked out of Bengals-Chargers game

Things got a little to hot for 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey, and the Cincinnati Bengals fan was kicked out of Qualcomm Stadium during the San Diego Chargers-Bengals game. TMZ posted a video of Lachey being escorated out by security, in which the boy-bander bragged on Twitter, “Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn’t be prouder! Go Cincy Bengals”

Despite being thrown out of the game, Lachey still won when the Bengals defeated the Chargers, 20-13. Lachey gloated, “Bengals win again. i’d talk trash to everyone in SD, but what’s the point? you already had me kicked out of the stadium and you still lost.”

Well this is a new one..after Seattle Seahawks CB Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman were suspended for testing positive for adderall, Chicago Bears WR alluded that players also abuse Viagra to help with their on-field performance. In 2012, there have been 21 suspensions because of failed tests for performance-enhancing drugs, including amphetamines like Adderall, a 75 percent increase compared to the 12 suspensions in 2011

Bears fans drink Nashville bars dry

If beer is proof that God loves us, then God must really love the Chicago Bears. Bears fans tapped Nashville bars dry of beer as they celebrated the team’s 52-20 pounding over the Tennessee Titans. The 7-1 Bears were cheered on by a LP Field filled with over 60% Bears fans who drank the city known for whiskey and rye dry of beer. Bears head coach Lovie Smith even called LP Field, “Solider Field South.”

NBC Chicago reported: “The Paradise Park Trailer Resort, for one, had no bottled beer left by dinner time Sunday. Whiskey Bent Saloon had two brands left.”

It comes as no surprise that sports fans like to drink, in a study by the University of Minnesota, 48% of fans attending a sporting event drink, and that football is the second most popular sport to drink at behind baseball games.

Has Tim Tebow finally scored? The backup NY Jets quarterback is dating actress Camilla Belle. The couple was spotted bowling in Tebow’s native Jacksonville during the NY Jet’s bye week. Back in May, Tebow and Belle were photographed together on the red carpet at the Met Gala.

Like Tebow, Belle’s past boyfriends have been outspoken about their Christian faith. After staring in a Jonas Brothers music video, Belle dated Joe Jonas for two years. Allegedly, Joe Jonas broke up with Taylor Swift to date Belle. Tebow and Swift were linked together briefly in March.

Belle, who’s mother is Brazilian, was raised Catholic and is playing Mary in the upcoming”Passion of the Christ” prequel based on the Virgin Mary.

Eva Longoria- Mark Sanchez broke up because Jets suck?

Did Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez break up because the Jets suck? Contrary to reports the couple split because of the age difference and hectic schedules, TMZ claims Longoria could no longer put up with Sanchez being “crabby” over the 3-5 Jets.
A source told the website, “It is hard to maintain a relationship when one person is upset all the time.” The Jets are last place in the AFC North.

Despite Sanchez attempts to reconcile, Page Six says Sanchez is “really upset about the breakup and “tried everything he could to make [Eva] happy…. the problem was Mark is very focused on football while Eva is a busy businesswoman.”

Sanchez was not only dumped by Maxim’s Sexiest Woman alive but the campaigns for Tebow have strengthen. Jets fans chanted for the famous backup during Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Looks like our Jersey Chaser of the Month is single! People.com is reporting that Mark Sanchez and Eva Longoria have broken up. According to the source, “Eva and Mark split amicably and remain friends. There is no drama.”

After being first linked together this summer, Longoria confirmed the relationship last month on Chelsea Handler, even suggesting she set up the comedian with Tim Tebow. The cause of the breakup is rumored to be because of the couple’s 12-year age difference and the actress’ Hollywood lifestyle.

But a rep for New York Jets QB said, “Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.”

Despite the breakup, Sanchez is not focusing his extra time on improving the 3-4 Jets. After the team’s overtime loss to the New England Patriots, Sanchez was spotted flirting with blondes at NYC nightclub Darby Downstairs. In the six degrees of jersey chasing, Longoria had a public divorce from NBA star Tony Park and Sanchez has been previously linked to Kate Upton, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Hayden Panettiere.
