“For us, we’ve always tried to create merchandise that we thought our fans would enjoy,” said Cowboys’ vice president of brand management Charlotte Anderson. “To take it a step further and really have a unique shopping experience that’s aimed towards women … 46 percent of our fans are female. We thought they needed a little more style and a little more comfort to be able to enjoy and support their team. Being able to do it in this fashion is really unique.”

Along with Lil Wayne, Young Money President Mack Maine and Cash Money Entertainment CEO Brian “Baby” Williams were also present. Bryant was detained by police but not arrested.

On Monday, Detroit’s Frederick Douglas College Preparatory Academy’s locker room was burglarized. The intruders stole over 20 helmets, pads and cleats, leaving the football team with no equipment to practice with and the possibility of having to
forfiet the school’s Homecoming game.

Suh, Best, Quicken Loans, Boby Max Ford, Xenith Helmet, and two Detroit suburban high schools raised money and donated new equipment for the Hurricanes. The new gear was hand delivered by none other than Suh and Best before the game, which Douglas went on to win, 50-0.

Irvin won three Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboy in the 90s. Playing along side greats Emmet Smith and Deion Sanders, Irvin believes his team would’ve welcome a gay teammate. “I believe, if a teammate had said he was gay, we would have integrated him and kept moving because of the closeness. [...] We had a bunch of different characters on that team. Deion [Sanders] and Emmitt [Smith]. I believe that team would have handled it well.”
