FC Barcelona player to dump Shakira or leave team

Shakira’s hips have gotten FC Barcelona soccer player Gerard Piqué into trouble. Head coach Pep Guardiola believes Shakira is a distraction to Piqué, and it is affecting his play… so much so that Guardiola is threatening to leave the team unless Piqué ends things with Shakira or is traded.

Piqué has been linked to the Colombian singer since last March and is accused of being late to practice and missing team meetings. The centre back was even photographed white water rafting, which is an activity banned by FC Barcelona.

But Shakira’s interferance just doesn’t stop with FC Barcelona, rival soccer team Real Madrid has banned Shakira’s music. Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium used to have Shakira’s music on their pre-match playlist, but the songs have been pulled.

Arsenal goalkeeper’s number tweeted out after plan backfires

In a case of revenge of the jersey chaser, Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny DirectMessaged one of his Twitter followers EliteTV personality Letesha Collins to meet, “Hello babe a will-be glamour model. Text me on 07794220972 if you wanna talk. Don’t give this number to anyone pls x.”

After Collins found out Szczensny had a girlfriend his would be suitor sent out his phone number to all her followers in a Follow Friday tweet:

Congratulations to Victoria and David Beckham who welcomed a baby girl into the world! Their fourth child and first girl, the former Spice Girl and soccer star named the family’s newest addition Harper Rose. Harper is a traditional English name, and the middle name Seven pays tribute to her dad’s soccer number.

Harper weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. and was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday, July 10. Despite her US citizenship, Posh Spice is also telling friends that she wants her daughter to grow up to be like Kate Middleton, which is not that unlikely considering the couple made the guest list at the April Royal Wedding.

“[The couple's sons] Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family,” the couple’s spokesperson Jo Milloy told People.com.

David Beckham and son in a car accident

David Beckham and his oldest son Brooklyn were in a car accident on Friday morning. The incident happened on LA freeway 405, when Beckham tried to avoid a stalled car in the car pool lane. Instead, Beckham rear ended his Cadillac Escalade into a Mitsubishi in the neighboring lane.

While Beckham and Brooklyn were unharmed, the other drive involved in the crash had to be taken to the hospital. Witnesses say while the incident was minor, it could have been much worse!

The accident happened just one day before wife Victoria Beckham’s baby shower. The shower was planned by fellow jersey chaser Eva Longoria.

Judge order Beckham to pay InTouch court fees

A judge has order David Beckham to pay In Touch Magazine’s court fees after he sued the magazine for $25 million over false accusations. The suit was dismissed by the judge over failure of evidence that the editors of In Touch published the story “with malice” intent after In Touch printed that Becks cheated on wife Victoria beckham with Bosian prostitute, Irma Nici.

Beckham refutes the dates and times Nici claimed she was with the soccer star. In the legal documents obtained by News of the World, Beckhman said: “As is my custom when I arrive at a hotel on a road trip before a match, a massage therapist came to my hotel room within a few hours after I checked to in to give me a massage… I recall that the therapist did not leave my hotel room until the very early morning. My security team was with me before, during and after the massage. After the therapist left I went to sleep. I have reviewed the daily logs prepared by my security detail which confirm my recollections.”

Becks has already filed an appeal but still must pay the $300,000 in legal fees for In Touch. Him and his wife Victoria are expecting their fourth child and first daughter this summer.

Soccer fans bring dead body to game

In the security breach of all security breaches… a group of Columbian soccer fans brought a 17-year old’s dead body to a Onceno Rojinegro soccer game after he was murdered just hours earlier. The fans figured they would pay tribute to the soccer fan, Cristopher Alexander Jacome Sanguino, who was gunned down by a hit man while playing soccer at a park. The shooting happened in the dangerous Columbian Bellavista neighborhood.

Sanguino’s mourners were able to sneak the casket into the game by lying to both the police and security by saying the other had given them permission to bring the body into the game

And people think it’s weird I have brought an octopus to a hockey game?!?

Wayne Rooney signs 5-year deal to stay with Manchester

After shocking all of England, when Manchester United star Wayne Rooney announced he wanted to leave the club, he has dropped another bombshell by resigning a 5-year deal to stay with the club.

Rooney apologized to the club and his teammates and wants to earn the respect back from his fans who he offended when he announced he wanted to leave Manchester:

“I will give 100% and try to build that relationship back. The fans have been brilliant with me since I arrived and it’s up to me through my performances to win them over again.”

While details of Rooney’s contract are not being released it is speculated he will be making £150,000 a week, or $235,664, making him the highest paid player in Manchester United history. Now that’s a lot of hookers!
