Did Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez break up

Despite Sanchez attempts to reconcile, Page Six says Sanchez is “really upset about the breakup and “tried everything he could to make [Eva] happy…. the problem was Mark is very focused on football while Eva is a busy businesswoman.”

Sanchez was not only dumped by Maxim’s Sexiest Woman alive but the campaigns for Tebow have strengthen. Jets fans chanted for the famous backup during Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.

After being first linked together this summer, Longoria confirmed the relationship last month on Chelsea Handler, even suggesting she set up the comedian with Tim Tebow. The cause of the breakup is rumored to be because of the couple’s 12-year age difference and the actress’ Hollywood lifestyle.

But a rep for New York Jets QB said, “Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.”

Despite the breakup, Sanchez is not focusing his extra time on improving the 3-4 Jets. After the team’s overtime loss to the New England Patriots, Sanchez was spotted flirting with blondes at NYC nightclub Darby Downstairs. In the six degrees of jersey chasing, Longoria had a public divorce from NBA star Tony Park and Sanchez has been previously linked to Kate Upton, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Hayden Panettiere.

Well this puts an end to the rumors of “are they or aren’t they!”

The rumored romance comes just weeks after Longoria split with boyfriend-model Eduardo Cruz after two years. Longoria went through a public divorce with San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker when reports surface Parker cheated with teammate Brent Barry’s wife. The couple are taking things slow, a source tells In Touch, “It looks like they’re testing the waters.”

Sanchez, 25 has previously Jamie Lynn Sigler, Hayden Panettiere and Kate Upton.

Although the shoot was for charity, Super Bowl winning quarterback Aaron Rodgers berated Sanchez in an ESPN radio interview: “Look at this. That’s embarrassing. Page 94 of the GQ thing here. That’s terrible.”

The comments caused such a stir, Sanchez released a statment through the Jets defending his clothing choice,  “I think he was, obviously, making a joke out of it, and that’s fine, giving me a good ribbing like the guys on our team. That’s totally understandable, but I’m just happy that it ended up working out for a good cause and we got to partner with two great companies and one great charity, with Hugo Boss and Tuesday’s Children.”

A witness said, “They were clearly trying to hide their affection. They used their friends as a buffer, but it didn’t work so well.” Panettiere was also seen chatting away with Sanchez at a party in LA in February, and the two partied together with other friends in Vegas two weeks ago.”

This is not Sanchez’s first time at Thejerseychaser rodeo… in the past he has been linked to Kristin Cavallari and Jamie Lynn Sigler.

The pair have been together for just 8 months, but the Hills alumn has stood by her man during tough times… including a knee injury and disaterous NFC title game. Cutler gave Cavallari a 5.2 carat diamond ring.

The couple first met at a Chicago Bears preseason game, and apparently Cavallari has a thing for quarterbacks. In the past, she has dated Mark Sanchez and Matt Leinart.

5. Spotted- Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohar getting cozy with an NFL quarterback. After breaking up with co-star Ed Westwick, Szohar entered the jersey chasing game. She hails from the home state of her quarterback’s team. A different pace than the Upper East Side, they have been spotted at NBA games and grabbing pizza.
6. Canadian actress Missy Peregrym chose football over hockey when she dated the NFL quarterback. The model-actress dated the NFL Bad Boy for two years before she broke up with him right before he led his team to the Super Bowl. Peregrym’s ex is now engaged, and Pergrym has retired from jersey chasing.
7. Julia Allison is the former editor of Star Magazine turned lingerie model who began dating the NFL quarterback in 2009. Allison welcomed the quarterback to her hometown when he was traded. Allison was two-years older than her jersey chasing boyfriend, which may explain why they are no longer together…
