Deron Williams gets number retired after 12 games

How good do you need to be to get your number retired? Apparently scoring 21.8 points and 6.5 assists per game. Although Deron Williams only played 12 games with Besiktas team in Turkey, they are retiring his number. Williams was the first NBA player to sign with a team overseas during the NBA lockout, and now that a CBA agreenment has been reached the team is biding him farwell by retiring No.8.

While the players and owners came to an agreenment Thanksgiving night, players are in the process of collecting the signatures needed to approve the reformation of the union the ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement by Dec. 9.  The start of the season will begin December 25th, giving NBA fans the best Christmas gift of all!

Diddy’s son commits to UCLA

P Diddy’s son will be a Bad Boy Bruin for Life, as the two-star cornerback recruit has committed to UCLA.

Justin Combs told Scout.com his decision just days after it was announced that head football coach Rick Neuheisel was fired. “I have faith in the program that everything will be OK. My love for UCLA is so strong. I trust and know that everything will work out.”

Combs is from New Rochelle, NY and though is only 5’9″ and 175 pounds, he was recruited by Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee Tech and Wyoming. Congratulations to Justin, his dad must be a Puff Daddy!
