He fooled us again… Brett Favre is not retiring, well officially. News broke Tuesday saying the legendary quarterback texted the Minnesota Vikings saying he was retiring. According to Favre, he will play next season but only if his ankle is healthy and denied sending the text messages.
Many bloggers believe the text messages were planted by someone inside the Minnesota Vikings to get a response out of Favre as to his plans for the upcoming season.
ESPN sideline reporter Samantha Steele is engaged to Minnesota Viking QB Christian Ponder earning her the honor of December 2012 Jersey Chaser of the Month.Steele and Ponder began dating at the begining of the NFL season and both had breakout years. Ponder claimed the starting job for the Vikings, while Steele was crowned ESPN’s new darling with the departure of Erin Andrews. The couple met on the College Game Day set. When asked about the relationship, Ponder said: “The cool thing is that obviously, we’re both at the same time, so we don’t get to see each other that much. But at least one person isn’t feeling guilty about not making the effort to do it or whatever. Then we kind of have the same schedule in the off season, so that’ll be good.” Share It
