Rachel Uchitel breaks silence on Tiger Woods in interview with Daily Mail

Rachel Uchitel, Tiger Wood’s No.1 mistress has broken her silence. Despite being paid a rumored $10 million from Tiger to stay quiet about their affair, Uchitel gave a detailed interview to the Daily Mail about the past year admitting she has a love addiction.

Uchitel said, “People don’t really understand love addiction, but I think a lot of women will relate to it… Instead of filling themselves with booze or drugs, love addicts become emotionally invested in a series of bad relationships. Since I lost Andy (her fiance who died in 9/11), I have always been looking for the perfect man. I wanted a man who would marry me, give me the house and children I long for. I plunged headfirst into relationships which I should never have been in.”

Uchitel feels that she has been precieved wrongly,  “I really want people to like me. I put out this tough image but I really didn’t set out to have the life I’ve had,” Uchitel said. “Women don’t like me because they see me as a threat. But I just want to be loved and that got me into trouble because I made some bad choices in men. What woman doesn’t understand that?”

Uchitel  lost her father at age 15 then her fiance during the attacks on the World Trade Center.
“Andy called and said, “Rachel, this is serious, I’ve just seen someone jump from the window of the other building.” He was working for Sandler O’Neill on the 104th floor of the South Tower. He hung up and I watched the second plane hit his building, 30 floors below where I knew he was. I tried calling him back but there was silence. Nothing.”
In the days after 9/11 Uchitel was seen on television searching for her fiance. Struggling to cope with the aftermath, Uchitel became addicted to prescription drugs, which doctors prescribed her to help her sleep.

“I went through hell. I fell to pieces. When the one-year anniversary of 9/11 happened, most of his friends had moved on. People we knew had married and were starting families. I felt robbed.”

Uchitel moved to Las Vegas and worked as a VIP hostess and made almost a half a million dollars a year, “I was paid well and got huge tips. I deserved it. I was good at my job.”

Part of Uchitel’s job was to give her clients whatever they wanted, including hookers. “If they wanted girls, I’d get them girls, though you have to understand I never got involved in that side of things. Of course, some of the girls were hookers. And others would sleep with men for gifts. But I didn’t force anyone to do anything. These were consenting adults. I was there to work and make money. It was strictly business.”

Strictly business, Uchitel was first introduced to Tiger on the job, and they began an eighth month affair. While Uchitel will not comment directly on it,  she does laugh when the reporter says she is better looking than the rest of his mistresses, “It’s hard not to be.”

Uchitel has also been linked to other married men such as David Boreanaz but regrets sleeping with them, “Yes, of course. I will never, ever do that again… I am not a whore, nor am I a girl impressed by money or fame,’ she says. ‘I have a brain and I came from money. I never needed any man’s money.”

In the Daily Mail photo shoot, Uchitel chain smokes and wears a floral print dress, “It is not something I would normally be caught dead in. But I want to show a different side of me. I’ve been branded as a scarlet woman but I am much, much more than that.”
