With the NFL locked out, Chad Ochocino has to get a paycheck somehow. This time the outspoken Cincinnati Bengal rode a bull . Ochocinco accepted a challenge from Professional Bulls Riders Association CEO Sean Gleason.
Gleason bet Ochocino he could not stay on the bull for more than 8 seconds to win a brand new Ford150 and would have gotten a chance to rename the bull. Despite falling off in the first two second, Ochocinco did not walk away empty handed and won $10,000.
It’s too bad Ochocinco didn’t last because he was planning on naming the bull after Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, saying on Twitter: “Why not name the bull Marvin Lewis, everything he says about me is #Bull[expletive] anyway!”
Oklahoma City Thunder star player Kevin Durant has helped his team make a strong championship run. The Thunder are up 3-2 to the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round of the NBA playoffs… and Durant’s secret weapon may just be his backpack. The Tampa Bay Lightning didn’t have much faith in their team making it far in the playoffs because they booked St. Pete Times Forum out to Toy Story on Ice right in the middle of the team’s deep playoff run. The Disney on Ice production is scheduled to be in Tampa Bay for Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference playoffs, coenciding with when the Lightning play at home. Despite sweeping the Washington Capitals in the second round, the Lightning have been waiting to start their next series as the Detroit Red Wings have pushed the San Jose Sharks to a Game 7.
Earlier in the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Boston Bruins- Montreal Canadians series was dictated by a Lady Gaga concert. According to the NHL, Games 3 & 4 will go on as scheduled… even if that means Steve Stamkos will be sharing a lockeroom with Woody. Sounds like Buzz Lightgear to the rescue!
