Condoleezza Rice in NFL apparel ad

After running our country’s foreign affairs as the Secretary of State under the Bush administration, Condoleezza Rice is now turning to modeling. The Cleveland native proudly supports the Browns in the “My Team” marketing campaign for NFL women’s clothing.

Rice joins Alyssa Milano and Serena Williams in what NFL’s director of apparel Rhiannon Madden said is “a message of empowerment. It’s your team–not your guy’s team.”

After finishing last place in the AFC North in 2011, Rice has some advice for the 4-12 Brown, “We’ve just got to find a way to score points,” she said. “Obviously, we’ve got to settle down the quarterback position.”

Ryan Lochte the next Bachelor?

After his mom told America her son only has time for one-night-stands Ryan Lochte maybe your next Bachelor. Lochte, who won two gold medals in London, revealed to Today Show’s Matt Lauer, “I’m definitely looking toward ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and ‘The Bachelor,’ so we’ll see what happens.” Lochte, who wants to move to LA, has not been shy about his TV aspirations, already starring in a Funny or Die parody and slated to appear on 90210.

But Lochte isn’t just interested in the Bachelor for the screen time, before the Olympics, the 28-year old told the New York Times, ”I’m over the whole college scene.” Because when you are two years shy of 30 and can’t find true love on a college campus turn to reality TV.

Hawaii Little League team misses championship after controversial call

Although the replay debate goes on in Major League Baseball, the subject is keeping the Nanakuli- Hawaii All-Stars out of the Little League World Series. The controversey comes after it was shown the Nanakuli runner missed third base. In the top of the sixth,  Petulama- Calfironia All-Stars led against Nanakuli, 7-6. With two outs in the inning, Petaluma manager came to the mound to discuss the next pitch, when his third baseman told his manager the prevous scoring Hawaii runner missed third base. On appeal the umpire called the runner out, giving the win to Petaluma.

Mike Modano and Will Ford divorce

Willa was here and now she is not. The pop singer and NHL husband Mike Modano are divorcing after five years of marriage. Ford and Modano began dating in 2001 before marrying in a small Texas ceremony in 2007. Prior to Modano, Ford dated Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys.

In a joint statement, the couple told PEOPLE,”It is with great sadness that after five years of marriage, Willa and Mike have decided to divorce. They remain friends and wish each other success and happiness.”

Modano retired in September after 21 seasons in the NHL, 20 with the Dallas Stars. During the 2007 NHL playoffs, Ford blogged for NHL.com chronicling the Stars Cup run.
