Maybe we have found out why Brian Urlacher took a personal week from Bears Camp. The Chicago Bears Pro-Bowler and his girlfriend, actress Jenny McCarthy have ended their 4-month relationship.
In a statement to People.com, McCarthy said, “Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship, I
will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!”
The couple first went public in May at RPM Restaurant in Chicago, owned by Giuliana and Bill Rancic. McCarthy, a native Chicagoian moved back to Chicago from LA. The Playboy cover model told OK! Magazine, “I’m from there and I feel like my son is not getting the childhood that I wanted in LA…. On top of that, I met someone I like and care about, so all those things combined takes me back home.”
Urlacher is not only recovering from a broken heart but underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Monday. He expects to be ready for the September 9 opener. Urlacher, who previously dated Paris Hilton, has until then to find his next jersey chaser.
