MLB rookie Stephen Strasburg underwent an MRI last week, and the results are not good. Strasburg has a tear in his ulner collateral ligament in his right elbow, which means he will most likely have to have Tommy John surgery. Undergoing the surgery would mean the most hyped rookie in MLB history would miss the 2011 season. Tommy John surgery is named after the first professional athlete to undergo the surgery and make it back to the majors. Thejerseychaser.com hopes Strasburg finds the same luck.
LA Dodgers owners Jamie and Frank McCourt are going through a nasty divorce, in which Jamie was fired as Dodgers CEO. Now Jamie is fighting back claiming her soon-to-be ex-husband altered documents to take away Jamie’s ownership of the team. Frank McCourt is a successful real estate agent out of Boston. In 2002, Frank attempted to buy the Boston Red Sox but was unsuccessful.
The couple bought the team in 2004 and are now hashing out ownership in divorce courts.
