On Saturday, Prince Harry threw out the first pitch at the New York Mets v. Minnesota Twins game. Prince Harry was in New York for three days to promote US and UK veterans organizations. Although the Mets lost 6-0, Prince Harry didn’t see the game because he left to watch the World Cup.

Fighting isn’t just in hockey, Tampa Bay teammates got into a heated dispute in the dugout on Sunday. The altercation came between superstars BJ Upton and Evan Longoria. Longoria called out Upton for not hustling after a ball hit by Arizona’s Rusty Ryal. This is not the first time Upton has gotten into trouble for his lack of work ethic and was even benched by Manager Maddon in the past. Tampa Bay has lost eight of their last 10 games.
Last week, thejerseychaser.com posted pictures of Lady Gaga at the Mets game. On Friday, Gaga took in the Mets Yankees game, this time wearing a Yankees jersey. Before the game, Gaga Tweeted: “I just kicked my ass in the gym, time to wash it down with an ice cold NY beer.”
Although the Yankees lost 4-0, Gaga went back into the Yankees clubhouse to greet the players including Alex Rodriguez. Gaga smooth-talked her way passed security drinking Jameson and groping her chest over her jersey. Yankees GM Brian Cashman was upset about the unapproved visitor. When asked by a Post reporter, Cashman said, “What? I didn’t know that.”
According to the NY Post, Lady Gaga has now been banned from the New York Yankees clubhouse. Let’s see if this banned goes off easier than the steroid ban.
Update: Gaga is not banned… yet. GM Brian Cashman has come out with this statement: “Celebrities aren’t banned. If Michael Jordan showed up here, he would have access (to the clubhouse) but not after a loss. There is just a time and place it is not her fault.”
Victoria Secret has finally given jersey chaser cute sports clothes to wear! Victoria Secret’s PINK unveiled its new Major League Baseball Collection over the weekend. The launch happened in Chicago to celebrate the Cubs v. White Sox inter-league series. Cub’s Randy Wells and White Sox’s Gordan Beckham were on hand at the Victoria Secret launch party.
Teams available are NY Yankees, Boston Red Sox, NY Mets, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, LA Angles, San Diego Padres, LA Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, and Minnesota Twins… sorry Tigers fans.
