The University of Iowa may have beaten undefeated Michigan State this weekend, but the Hawkeyes involved in an NCAA recruiting violation with Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore as the culprits. The Des Moines Register is reporting that athletic officials allowed high school recruits to meet the Hollywood couple when they attended a Hawkeye football game last month.
The NCAA prohibits recruits from meeting any individuals associated with university athletics. Although Kutcher is not an Iowa alumni, he is a big fan and supporter of the school. One of the recruits, Marcus Paige tweeted the picture he took with Ashton and said, “What better way to celebrate a birthday than to meet a cool guy like Ashton?”
The recruits are also have said to have met with former Iowa basketball players. Iowa is ewaiting to hear the NCAA’s response in their internal investigation.

Historically, Notre Dame has been a football dynasty, but in recent years the Fighting Irish have been on the decline. Assuming Notre Dame loses to 4-3 Tulsa this Saturday, the Fighting Irish will break the record on the following home game, November 13 against No.8 Utah. While The Gipper may be rolling over in his grave, Notre Dame seniors are embracing the all time losing record.
