NHL star Brad Richards just signed a 9-year $60 million contract with the New York Rangers, and while visiting his new city, Richards left his Twitter account signed in at an NYC hotel… lucky for him Tommy Lee knows a thing or two about invasion of privacy and helped him out. The Motley Crew rocker tweeted: “im a dork!…. im still signed in in NYC!! uh oh!!!!!!” “signing out for ya!! im a nice hacker!! HEy dude btw..its Tommy Lee!!! hahah!! @mrtommyland.” And people say New Yorkers aren’t friendly!
The mystery has been solved! The Vancouver Riot kissing couple have been idenfitied as Scott Jones and Alex Thomas. According to the boy’s mother Megan Jones said, “It is something he would do, that’s our boy. He has always lived in his own world, he’s special like that. He doesn’t always connect with what going on around him.”
Jones, who is 29 and a standout comedian, moved to Vancouver six months ago and began dating Thomas shortly after. Writting on his Facebook, Jones said, “Classic! This was shortly after the riot police run over the top of us and naturally Alex needed some comforting.”
Despite people saying the picture was staged, the couple insist they were caught up in the moment, and it has now become one of the most famous makeout scenes of all time…. move over VJ Day in Times Square couple!
Congratulations to the Stanley Cup Champions Boston Bruins, who beat the Vancouver Canucks in seven games. It has been 18 years since a Canadian has won Lord Stanley, and despite coming close, the Vancouver fans showed their frustrations by rioting the city that led to one casualty.
The Tampa Bay Lightning didn’t have much faith in their team making it far in the playoffs because they booked St. Pete Times Forum out to Toy Story on Ice right in the middle of the team’s deep playoff run. The Disney on Ice production is scheduled to be in Tampa Bay for Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference playoffs, coenciding with when the Lightning play at home. Despite sweeping the Washington Capitals in the second round, the Lightning have been waiting to start their next series as the Detroit Red Wings have pushed the San Jose Sharks to a Game 7.
Earlier in the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Boston Bruins- Montreal Canadians series was dictated by a Lady Gaga concert. According to the NHL, Games 3 & 4 will go on as scheduled… even if that means Steve Stamkos will be sharing a lockeroom with Woody. Sounds like Buzz Lightgear to the rescue!
