Trouble in tabloid magazine paradise? August’s Jersey Chaser of the Month Hilary Duff got married to hockey player Mike Comrie. The couple sold their pictures to OK! Magazine in exchange for their $1 million wedding to be paid in full. The Comrie’s were paid half the money up front, with the other half to come after magazine sales. However, the wedding issue failed to even sell 300,000 copies… so looks like Lizzie McGuire is paying for half the wedding herself. What I can’t understand is that Comrie is a trust fund baby? What is the exchange rate on the Canadian dollar again?

ESPN sideline reporter Samantha Steele is engaged to Minnesota Viking QB Christian Ponder earning her the honor of December 2012 Jersey Chaser of the Month.Steele and Ponder began dating at the begining of the NFL season and both had breakout years. Ponder claimed the starting job for the Vikings, while Steele was crowned ESPN’s new darling with the departure of Erin Andrews. The couple met on the College Game Day set. When asked about the relationship, Ponder said: “The cool thing is that obviously, we’re both at the same time, so we don’t get to see each other that much. But at least one person isn’t feeling guilty about not making the effort to do it or whatever. Then we kind of have the same schedule in the off season, so that’ll be good.” Share It
