After the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 30-27 last night, Cowboys runningback Tashard Choice asked Michael Vick for an autograph. Choice’s actions raised eyebrows among Cowboy fans, but Choice is defending himself on Twitter saying:
If its anybody that cares about winning and the d cowboys its me. I apologize to the people it was just an innocent jesture for my nephew.
According to Choice, the autograph was for his three-year old nephew, and Vick “Has nothing to do with how I play on da feel. Y’all are a trip foreal,” he tweeted. “…We all exchange autographs. That’s so stupid for people to get mad about.”
In Choice’s defense, his nephew probably already knows at the age of three not to ask for any Cowboys’ autographs with a record of 4-9.

Octopi, plastic rats and now waffles can be added to the list of crazy things hockey fans throw on the ice. After the Toronto Maples Leafs lost to the Philadelphia Flyers, Leaf fans threw waffles on the ice to show their frustration at the 10-14 Maple Leafs. After the game, winger Colby Armstrong said:
“Who brings waffles to a hockey game, really? Had we won the game, he was going home with soggy waffles so, I don’t know. Whatever. I don’t appreciate it really, a guy throwing waffles at me when I’m skating by. We’re trying to make light of it in here. Throw a T-bone. Spend some money. Throw a filet.”
Ron Artest released a rap song after he won an NBA Championship with the LA Lakers, got in a brawl with a Detroit Pistons fan, and is now adding vegan to his list of many accomplishments. In a new interview with ESPN.com the NBA bad boy reveals his softer side: “Ron Ron is carrying a large bag of food for his lunch — all vegan. But Ron Ron is not entirely vegan. “About 80 percent,” he says. “I like pork chops.”
During the NY Jets Miami Dolphins game, Miami cornerback Nolan Carroll was intentionally tripped by a Jets personnel while running down a punt. The man accused of tripping Carrolll is Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi.
Carroll was injured but later returned to the game to help the Dolphins win the game 10-6. After the game, Carroll’s teammate Channing Crowder said, “I wish they would have tripped me. I would have broken his leg.”
Late Sunday, Alsoi admitted to tripping Carroll and released a statement saying, “I made a mistake that showed a total lapse in judgment. My conduct was inexcusable and unsportsmanlike.”
