Cincinnati Bengals receiver Terrell Owens has hired a matchmaking service to find love. The high end matchmaker service charges clients between $15,000- $150,000 for a chance at love. T.O is looking for an exotic girl who looks like Kim Kardashian…good thing the service has 18 international offices.
The ever outspoken Owens was previously engaged and has a 11-year old son.Thejerseychaser.com reported back in August that T.O was dating singer Brandy. Maybe T.O should take the advice from teammate and friend Chad Ochocinco, who had a dating show on VH1.
Back in April, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended two-time Super Bowl winner and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Rothlisberger for the first six games of the season. Rothlisberger violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy after he was accused of sexual assault by a 20-year-old student at Georgia College & State University. This is the second accusation of its kind Rothisberger has been accused of.
Rothisberger’s first game back was today against the Cleveland Browns. Women’s rights groups gathered outside Heinz Field to protest Rothlisberger’s return. Some of the signs read: “Big Ben’s a Jagoff,” “Consent is Not a Game,” “No Means No,” and “Don’t Let Ben Rape Again.”
The Steelers beat the Browns, 28-10.
Today was the 33rd annual Detroit Free Press International Marathon. I ran the half-marathon and finished with a time of 2:26! The winner of the marathon was Jordan Desilets of Pickney, Michigan. Desilets finished with a time of 2:28:30… I beat Desilets by two minutes, although he did run twice as much. Desilets is a former Eastern Michigan University track runner and won the NCAA Division I 3,000-meter steeplechase in 2004. This is Desilets first marathon. Congrats to all the runners!

Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas has been fined $50,000 for faking an injury. Arenas faked the injury so he could sit out of the Wizards Atlanta Hawks NBA preseason game on Tuesday. After the game, Arenas admitted he faked a knee injury, so he could get teammate Nick Young more playing time. Arenas said:
“I screwed up again, so I just want to say sorry. I wasn’t really thinking that this was going to be another media outburst. It’s like everything I do now, someone, tit for tat, tries to blow it out of proportion.”
Arenas is no stranger to controversy. Last season, Arenas brought a firearm into the Wizards locker room and was suspended for the rest of the season. Seems like Arenas should be worried about getting playing time!
