Congratulations to Miley Cyrus who was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame! It appears as though Cyrus fan base are quite the bowling fanatics since the Hannah Montana star beat out other nominees such as Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga to be voted into the HOF’s celebrity wing.
“Fueled by the passion and support of her supporters and bowling fans worldwide, Ms. Cyrus rose to the occasion scoring an incredible comeback victory. We are honored to welcome her into the Hall of Fame and grateful for her support of the great sport of bowling,” said Steve Johnson, executive director of the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America.
Cyrus got the nod because according to her nomination ballot, “when she’s not filming or recording, she’s been spotted at various bowling centers with celebrity friends, including fellow nominees Nick Jonas and Justin Bieber, and charity bowling events.”
Miley is such a bowling fan, I had to search through Google Images to find this picture of her from her pre-salvia days!

But now the Big East has brought forward Proposal No. 2011-78 to the NCAA council calling for set butter, cream cheese, jelly or peanut butter on top of bagels to be provide for perspective student athletes.
No resolution to the NBA lockout yet, but the entire New Jersey Nets team has been given clearance to attend Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries wedding. Despite previous concerns that the no player-owner contact rule would prevent the Nets from attending the jersey chasing wedding of the century, all players and team personnel got the OK to go Saturday’s nuptials.
The Nets made the cut, after the bride-to-be had to disinvite 50 guests at the last minute because of over crowding. The fire department deemed the venue unsafe with guests, TV equipment and production crew on location. E! is filming the Kardashian-Humphries wedding in a four hour-two part TV special.
