According to Thebiglead.com, ESPN sources reveal Jay Mariotti’s days at ESPN are over. The famous sports personality and columnist was arrested for domestic violence over the weekend. Mariotti faces a court date on Sept. 17, and TBL believes the only way he will be back on the network is if all charges are dropped.
Mariotti is most famous for his role on the commentator show “Around the Horn,” which is on a week long hiatus.
While Tiger Woods’ marriage came to an end today, wife Elin Nordegren just got 100 million reasons to be happy. Nine months after the Thanksgiving Day crash, Elin released the statement:
“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”
Elin is reportedly receiving $100 million, and the couple will have join custody of their children.

Shaq’s new girlfriend is the former winner of Flavor Flav’s looking for love reality show “Flavor of Love.” But more recently, Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander (how fitting that she is now dating a basketball player) was on another VH1 reality show “I Love Money” (how fitting that she is dating Shaq).
Despite already being part of the VH1 family, it is unlikely that Hoopz will join the cast of “Basketball Wives.”
