Congratulations to the September Jersey Chaser of the Month, Kristin Cavallari. Former Hills and Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari is reportedly going out with Bears quaterback Jay Cutler. Cavallari is no rookie to jersey chasing… or quaterback chasing for that matter. In the past, Cavallari has been linked to USC quaterbacks Matt Leinart and Mark Sanchez. New York Giant Plaxico Burress is in jail serving a two-year sentence for illegal gun possession. In November 2008, Burress accidentally shot himself at a night club when the gun fell out of his pants. Burress applied for a work release program, so he could play football but was denied. This is the second time Burress has been denied for a work release program, having earlier applied in January 2010.
The NY Department of Correctional Services said, “The serious and negative impact illegal guns have on the community coupled with dangerous nature of the weapon discharging in a public place renders him unsuitable for work release participation.”
Manny Ramirez has been traded from the LA Dodgers to the Chicago White Sox. There was talk that Ramirez would have to cut his famous dreadlocks because the White Sox have an appearance policy, however Ramirez gets to keep the hair, which means marketing opportunities for the White Sox!
The Dodgers capitalized on Ramirez’s mop by selling “Manning Wigs.” The wigs became a fan favorite and were made sure to be always in-stock. Now that Ramriez has been traded, the Dodgers have no need for the news. Luckily, the White Sox have contacted the Dodgers about obtaining the left over wigs!
