In the spirit of the NBA playoffs, 6th grader Patrick Gonzalez paid tribute to his favorite San Antonio Spurs player by having Matt Boner’s picture shaved into the back of his head… but now Gonzalez in trouble with the school for being a distraction. “My 1st period teacher called the principal. She told her it was a distraction,” said Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is in trouble with the administration despite his mom asking for permission beforehand, “I didn’t want any kind of problems with any of the principals. I know there are rules and regulations anywhere else you go,” Mrs. Gonzalez told local news.
But Bonner is coming to the defense of the young fan, “Couldn’t you just move him to the back of the class?” Bonner said.“Then nobody would see it; it wouldn’t be a distraction. Otherwise, the nicest thing a fan has ever done for me is ruined.”
Despite the hairy situation, the Spurs lead the series 1-0 against the Los Angles Clippers.

Tebowmania is taking over New York, and not even canines are safe. In an attempt to fully embrace his new team, Tim Tebow is changing his dog’s name to “Bronx.” Tebow got the Rodesian Ridgeback in 2010, during his rookie season with the Denver Broncos and named him ”Bronco” after the franchise. After acquiring Peyton Manning in the off season, the Denver Broncos traded Tebow for a four and sixth-round-draft-pick.
Today was the first day media was allowed into the Jet’s locker room, and Tebow is adjusting quite well to his new surrondings. The story was broke by NY Post Jets beat reporter Manish Mehta, who tweeted:“Tim Tebow will change his dog’s name from Bronco to Bronx. #nyj”
For Bronco/ Bronx’s sake, I hope the next team Tebow plays for has a “Bro” name attached to it.
