Will Smith and Jada Smith part owners of 76ers

The Fresh Prince is returning to his roots. As Will Smith so famously rapped in the shows theme song, “in West Philadelphia I was born and raised,” the actor is now part owner of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Smith and his wife Jada are apart of a group led by Joshua Harris, who purchased the team from Comcast-Spectacor.

The couple and owners’ first order of business? Slashing ticket prices! At yesterday’s press conference, team CEO Adam Aron said,“I’m announcing today that going forward, we are slashing – and I mean slashing – ticket prices on individual game tickets on just under 9,000 seats at the Wells Fargo Center for each and every Sixers home game.”

Forbes valued the 76ers at $330 million, which is 17th in the league. The couple have a combined networth of $200 million. Despite the NBA lockout, Will Smith has saved the world on multiple occasions, so finding a CBA agreement should be no problem!

Michael Jackson’s daughter to play on school’s football team

It seems Michael Jackson’s daughter likes playing with little boys just as her father did. Paris Jackson is on her school’s football team, and she is determined to prove that girls can play football too. Paris and her brothers, Prince and Blanket, attend the prestigious Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley.

This is the first school the children have attended, and it isn’t cheap either- boasting a $30,000 tuition. Famous alumn  include Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Natalie Cole and Matthew Perry.

Although it is flag football, Paris is the first girl in the school’s history to be on the football team. Paris is stepping out from her family and playing in the game as opposed to performing at half time. Both MJ and Aunt Janet Jackson performed at the Super Bowl halftime shows in 1993 and 2004.

Congrats to Paris! Do we have a possible Jersey Chaser of the Month?

Tim Tebow to star in Die Hard with Bruce Willis?

Tim Tebow finally got the starting quarterback job for the Denver Broncos, but is he leaving football to pursue a career in acting?

On Jim Rome’s ESPN Radio Show, Fox Filmed Entertainment CEO John Rothman threw Tebow’s name out to play Bruce Willis’ son in the movie Die Hard V. Willis’ legendary character John McClane, combines grit, determination and fear. Rothman asked Rome, “What do you think of Tebow in the lead?”

Rome argued, “He might be too nice, but no one would work harder to make it work.” Rothmans says he expects many young Hollywood actors to audition for the part. “We have to find just the right guy.”

If Tebow does get the part, will he wear his John 3:16 eye black?
