Dwyane Wade dating George Clooney’s ex?

It look likes Dwyane Wade has gotten over the NBA Finals loss with the help of George Clooney’s ex. Wade and model-actress Elisabetta Canalis were spotted at the Dsquared2 fashion show in Italy. The couple sat front row in matching denim attire. Despite Wade’s longtime girlfriend Gabrielle Union, PerezHilton reported that Wade and Canalis were very flirty with eachother.

It’s a good thing Wade is used to rebounding, Canalis and boyfriend George Clooney broke up after two years of dating this week. A statement was released by US Weekly saying: “We are not together anymore…It’s very difficult and very personal and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.”

Could Canalis be the next jersey chaser of the month?

Oprah wants OJ’s confession

Despite her long list of accomplishments, Oprah revealed it is her proffessional dream to get OJ Simpson to confess to the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

What was deemed The Trial of the Century, Simpson left the nation stunned when he was found not guilty on two counts of murder… but if it is up to Oprah she will get his confession!

“I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me,” Winfrey said. “And I am going to make that happen, people. I don’t just want the interview. I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson.”

Oprah dropped the bombshell at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association convention in Chicago, but will have to go to Nevada to get the interview, since Simpson is serving 33 years behind bars for armed robbery and kidnapping over sports memorabilia. Earlier this year, Oprah wanted to interview other troubled NFL player Michael Vick. Despite booking the interview, Vick pulled out the morning of taping.

Cam Newton and Panthers on Hard Knocks?

It looks like Cam Newton will be going from $100,000 man to Hard Knocks… the Carolina Panthers are the lead candidate to be featured on the new season of Hard Knocks. The HBO original series chronicles an NFL team’s training camp and upcoming season preparations. Panthers center Ryan Kalil tweeted, “Reliable source telling me possible reality sports doc TV series coming to NC after today’s media presence covering Panther POTA’s.”

This season is especially competitive because of the NFL lockout. Despite other teams’ interest, including the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos, the Panthers are said to be the front runner because of first overall draft pick Newton. Already proclaiming himself as an entertainer and icon, Newton is no stranger to controversy, after reports surfaced that Newton accepted money to play college football at Auburn.
