While most NBA players are debating on whether they should play in Europe during the NBA lockout, bad boy Ron Artest is taking his talents to the dance floor.
With ABC casting the new season of the reality competition, Artest is up for the challenge… kind of, “I’d want to go,” Artest said, “but I’d want to lose in the first round.”
Artest has showed his musical side before releasing his own rap single after the LA Lakers won the 2010 NBA Championship, but Artest is not so sure about dancing, “I don’t want to put my hips in a situation where I’m looking like Rick Fox,” Artest said. “Rick Fox is a great dancer, but I don’t want to put my hips in a situation where people are questioning whether I’m a rapper or a singer.”
Today marks the one year anniversary of LeBron James’ Decision, when he announced in an ESPN special he would be taking his talents to South Beach and would sign with the Miami Heat.
Those six words embarked furry on the entire nation, after LeBron left his hometown team the Cleveland Cavaliers in the dusk! But in a recent survey by the Miami News, not even Florida likes him. According to Public Policy Polling, only 22% of Floridians like LeBron and only 14% of people identified the Miami Heat as their favorite Florida sports team. The Heat were not even the most well liked team in Miami, with the Dolphins taking 16% of the vote.
While LeBron doesn’t have the biggest fan base in the Sunshine state, the survey said that only 24 percent have an unfavorable opinion, while 54 percent are unsure. Lucky for LeBron, when he wakes up he is still LeBron James, and we all have the same problems.
It look likes Dwyane Wade has gotten over the NBA Finals loss with the help of George Clooney’s ex. Wade and model-actress Elisabetta Canalis were spotted at the Dsquared2 fashion show in Italy. The couple sat front row in matching denim attire. Despite Wade’s longtime girlfriend Gabrielle Union, PerezHilton reported that Wade and Canalis were very flirty with eachother.
It’s a good thing Wade is used to rebounding, Canalis and boyfriend George Clooney broke up after two years of dating this week. A statement was released by US Weekly saying: “We are not together anymore…It’s very difficult and very personal and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.”
Could Canalis be the next jersey chaser of the month?
