Uh oh… did Thejerseychaser.com jinx Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels? Via the Broncos official Twitter, the team announced McDaniels was out as the team’s head coach. Over the weekend, TJC reported how McDaniels traded Peyton Hillis was traded to the Cleveland Browns after he hit on McDaniel’s wife, Laura McDaniels. Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is ninth in the NFL in rushing and has scored 11 touchdowns. Hillis breakout season is making many Denver Bronco’s fans kick themselves that the team traded him away this off season.
But it wasn’t the Browns lacked confidence in Hillis, rather he was traded after hitting on head coach Josh McDaniels’ wife.
NFL analyst Mark Schlereth told Denver’s 104.3 sports talk, Hills put the moves on Laura McDaniels soon after her husband became the head coach in 2009.
Unfortunately for McDaniels, players hitting on his wife is not the only thing he needs to worry about… the Broncos are 3-8!
On the bright side, it’s good to know that not even proffesional athletes are exempt from flirting with the boss’ wife.
Tim Tebow is not letting his big Jockey contract get to his head. The Denver Broncos rookie QB honored football hazing tradition by carrying his teammates pads after practice. Dez Bryant could learn a thing or two from the former Florida Heisman Trophy winner.
Hopefully the football gods are looking down on Tebow and will protect him from injury this season.
Tim Tebow is stripping down into his undies. Tebow is the new spokesperson for Jockey underwear. The former Florida Gator QB will be in a Denver Broncos uniform come fall and will be in jockey underwear in Spring 2011. Jockey announced in a press release today that Tebow has agreed to a multi-year contract to be the new spokesperson.
In a statement Tebow said: “I’m excited to represent the Jockey brand and to work with such an innovative company,” Tebow said in the press release. “I’ve long been a fan and consumer of Jockey, and think they make a quality product with a great fit. I’m looking forward to a great relationship with such a respectable company.”
Thejerseychaser.com wants to know if Tebow will wear his John 3:16 eyeblack in the Jockey photo shoot?
