Despite swindling LeBron James from Cleveland, the Miami Heat have not lived up to their much anticipated hype. Though early into the season, the Heat are only 9-8… just barley above 500, and Mr. James is not happy about it. After the Heat’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks 106-95 last night, LeBron purposely bumped into Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra.
This is not the first time LeBron has not gotten along with his coaching staff. Last off season, in an attempt to keep LeBron in Cleveland, the Cavaliers fired head coach Mike Brown.
It has been widely speculated Spoelstra will be fired. Even LA Lakers legendary head coach Phil Jakcson believes Heat President and Hall-of-Fame coach Pat Riley will take over the team.
Jackson told ESPN 1000, “That’s kind of my take on it, is that eventually if things don’t straighten out here soon, it could be the Van Gundy thing all over again.”
Jackson later apologized for his comments, but it looks like he was just saying whatever else is thinking, including LeBron.
YouTube sensation Antoine Dodson famous for the Bed Intruder song was a special guest at last night’s UFC fight in Detroit. Dodson can be seen in UFC President Dana White’s video blog above. While the main fight between Rampage v. Machida went to a decision, if you ask us Dodson was the main event.
As The Big Lead pointed out, last week the UFC released a list of websites who show illegal streams of UFC Fights exclusive to Pay Per View, YouTube being one of them… oh the irony!
Buffalo Sabers goalie and US Olympic hero Ryan Miller reenacts Caddyshack for ESPN. , Miller has seen the movie over 100 times, and after all the NHL is a sucker for a good video.
Erin Andrews is in Ohio for the Ohio State Penn State football game. Last night, the cast of ESPN’s College Game Day took sometime to attend the Columbus Blue Jackets Colorado Avalanche game. Andrews got her start covering hockey for the Tampa Bay Lightning and is a former jersey chaser. In the clip above, Andrews admits she did not know much about hockey when she started covering the sport, but she got a crash course when she began dating former Florida Panthers defenseman Ryan Johnson.
The Blue Jackets lost to the Avs 5-1, and Ohio State beat Penn State 38-14.
