The National Enquirer is reporting that Elin Nordegren has contacted Sotheby’s auction house to sell over $.25 million worth of jewelry that was gifted to her by Tiger Woods. Reports have surfaced saying Tiger has been trying to get back together with his ex-wife after a very public divorce. Elin hopes that by selling the jewelery Tiger gave to her that she believed were “just because” gifts rather than the “guilty” gifts they really were will be the ultimate message. The source said, “It’s the ultimate act of revenge. It’s her way of saying, ‘Now do you get the message? It’s over!’”
Eidson Pena was one of the Chilean miners who was trapped underground. Pena passed the time 69 days underground by running up to 3 miles a day in the mine’s tunnels. An iPod was sent to Pena upon his request uploaded with Elvis music for him to workout to. Now, Pena will run in tomorrow’s New York City Marathon and was invited specially by the race’s organizers.
This will be Pena’s first marathon and he has not change, but that is not stopping him. Last night, Pena appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and performed some of the Elvis songs that he runs to on his iPod. Good luck Pena from one runner to another!
