Tiger Woods’ ex-wife has come out of jersey chasing retirement, this time trading the green for ice. Elin Nordegren is linked to San Jose Shark defenseman Douglas Murray, who like Nordegren is a fellow Swede. According to the Swedish gossip site Expressen, the couple got cozy at Rose Nightclub in Stockholm last week. Earlier this month, Nordegren and Murray dinned with mutual friends.
The friend playing matchmaker just so happens to be Jesper Parnevik, the man who set up Nordegren and Woods. Nordegren and her twin sister nannied for Parnevik in 2000, introducing Elin to Woods a year later.
Despite the rumored romance Murray is denying any relationship. “We are only friends,” Murray told Expressen. “We are not dating and we have never dated. We have friends in common and we have only known each other for a couple of weeks.”
Perviously, Nordegren dated investment banker, Jamie Dingman and even planned to marry him.
She may no longer be a jersey chaser, but Elin Nordegren is still capturing the attention of Tiger Woods over reports that the Swedish beauty is planning to marry her investment banker boyfriend, Jamie Dingman.
Tiger is reportedly “fuming” now that Dingman has grown close to his two children with Nordegren after 8 months of dating.
The couple’s relationship became public during the summer almost two years after Tiger’s cheating allegations emerged during Thanksgiving 2009 and became the national spotlight.
It was the National Enquirer who first broke the Woods-Rachel Uchitel affair, and now the tabloid is reporting: “Tiger has always hoped, unrealistically, that he and Elin would get back together one day. She’s serving notice that he has lost her for good, and another man will be raising his kids.”
Nordegren received over $100 million from the divorce settlement… but considering Dingman owned an Indy-race car team does not need the money. The investment banker, specializes in Russian private equity also may specialize in wounded jersey chasers, as he has been previously linked to Bridget Moynahan.
And I know what you are all thinking… no he is not a golfer!
The National Enquirer is reporting that Elin Nordegren has contacted Sotheby’s auction house to sell over $.25 million worth of jewelry that was gifted to her by Tiger Woods. Reports have surfaced saying Tiger has been trying to get back together with his ex-wife after a very public divorce. Elin hopes that by selling the jewelery Tiger gave to her that she believed were “just because” gifts rather than the “guilty” gifts they really were will be the ultimate message. The source said, “It’s the ultimate act of revenge. It’s her way of saying, ‘Now do you get the message? It’s over!’”
The power of the jersey chaser!
Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have managed to keep details of their impending divorce private, but now new reports have surfaced revealing that Elin may be receiving the biggest divorce settlement of all time. Their divorce maybe finalized as soon as next week, and Elin will walk away with $500 million…. that is as long as she keeps her mouth shut. Tiger has an estimated net work of $900 million and makes $85 million a year. Under the agreement, Elin is not allowed to reveal anything about Tiger and his affairs to any news source including: radio, magazines, TV, or tell-all books… for the rest of her life! As for Tiger, he is not only forking over his fortune but he is also not allowed to bring any single women around the children. Tiger is allegedly complaining with all of Elin’s demands because his biggest fear is Elin will ruin his reputation after he rebuilds it. Can someone tell Tiger he first has to rebuild his reputation?
