Jay Mariotti, famous sports columnist and ESPN personality, was arrested this morning for domestic violence. Mariotti and his girlfriend were at a club in Santa Monica and got into a fight, which escalated once they went to their home in Venice.
He is currently being held on $5,000 bail. Wood Paige 1, Mariotti 0
Paul McCartney wrote the song “Yesterday” with the now iconic guitar known to Beatles fans as the “guitar with the Red Wings sticker.” McCartney still uses the guitar whenever he preforms the hit. The Pittsburgh Penguins new Consol Energy Center had its grand opening, with McCartney playing two sold out shows Wednesday and Thursday. As one can imagine, Penguins fans were none to pleased to see McCartney donning a Red Wings sticker on his guitar, so the next night Penguins president Daivd Morehouse and Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl convinced McCartney to add a Penguins sticker.
TMZ posted pictures of Tiger Wood’s main mistress Rachel Uchitel posing with a Tiger cub. While Uchitel claims the photos are for a charity campaign to bring awareness to endangered animals… she has found herself in hot water. To keep quiet about her love affair with the golfer, Tiger paid Uchitel $10m… and forbid Uchitel from ever talking about Tiger or even suggesting his name. Good thing she isn’t a Detroit Tiger’s fan!
The National Enquirer is claiming Tiger Woods plans to marry his No.1 mistress Rachel Uchitel. However their happy ending has become complicated because Woods is upset Uchitel is on the newest season of Celebrity Rehab.
“Rachel explained that she’d be paid $500,000 and could kick her pill habit at the same time. She knows she is seen as the woman who broke up Tiger’s marriage, and by doing the show she hopes to gain a sympathetic image by the time she marries him. But Tiger was livid that she’d expose her addiction in such a public way. He’s embarrassed that the next Mrs. Tiger Woods will be known as a former drug addict, and he’s encouraged her to go into a private program. But he’s also worried that Dr. Drew will influence Rachel to leave him, and paint him as a loser who can’t be counted on in a serious relationship.”
