Just when we thought the Brett Favre drama was over, he strikes again! Two former NY Jets massage therapists are suing Favre for making sexual advances towards them during his 2008 season.
According to one of the therapists, Favre sent text messages to her saying, “Brett here, you and Crissy want to get together, I’m all alone.” In another text message Favre said, “Kinda lonely tonight, I guess I have bad intentions.” On Monday, Favre announced he was retiring from the NFL, just days after the league fined Favre $50,000 for failure to cooperate in their investigation into the Jenn Sterger sext messages.
With the year Favre has had, many are speculating Deanna Favre to file for divorce from her husband. The college sweethearts have been married since 1996, but Deanna almost divorce Favre in the late 90s for his womanizing ways.
Stanford won the 2011 Orange Bowl, beating Virgina Tech 40-12, but the Stanford band was not allowed to play during the halftime show.
Bowl officials prohibited the band from performing after they announced the theme of their halftime show would be “Recent Events in the Pro Sports World in Miami.” The game was broadcast on ESPN, the network that producedLeBron James’ Decision, which probably also had something to do with the ban.
The Stanford band is notorious for its politically incorrect halftime performances. In the past, the band has formed a curcitifix during their performance they titled “The Irish, Why Must They Fight” and even involved a white van covered in bloody hand prints during a performance at the height of the OJ Simpson murder trial.
Band or no band, Stanford finished with a 12-1 record, the best in school history when they took their talents to South Beach.
*The video below is of the Stanford band’s most notorious performance, which got them banned from performing at Oregon for three years. The band mocks Oregon’s logging industry and makes a formation of the endangered spotted owl and a marijuana leaf.
This past summer, Cristiano Ronaldo shocked the world when he announced he had a baby, just days after Portugal was knocked out of the World Cup. Details were not released about the child or who the mother was.
Now, the British tabloid The Mirror is reporting that the mother of Ronaldo’s only child is a 20-year old woman with whom he had a one night stand with. Ronaldo paid the woman $10 million to sign over her rights to the child. The baby, who is named Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., is being raised with the help of Ronaldo’s mother and sister, but now the baby mama wants her son back!
The woman is pleading with Ronaldo to let her see Baby Cristiano, but the soccer star refuses. According to The Mirror, Ronaldo will only let the woman see her son if she pays some of the money back he gave her in their settlement.
The mother, who is a British student, is said to be so upset and depressed that she dropped out of school. In the contract, the mother is not allowed to tell anyone she is the mother, not even her family, ““She feels like she has sold her soul. She has this millionaire lifestyle, but can never tell her friends and family the truth about what has happened – and that makes her incredibly lonely.”
If anyone knows any 20-year old British women who magically stumbled upon $10 million, it may just be Ronaldo’s baby mama.
Since the start of the NHL Winter Classics in 2008, fans have long rallied for a Winter Classic at Yankees Stadium. But because of the Pinstripe Bowl, and the preparation it takes to build an NHL size outdoor hockey rink, Yankees Stadium is an impossible venue…. so New Yorkers are proposing another famous NYC landmark: Central Park. Ignoring the obvious challenges such as lack of stadium seating… the fate of the Winter Classic falls in the hands of the television networks because the game competes with the New Years Day college bowl games. The league’s current TV contract with NBC and Versus expires at the end of the season, and it is not known what network will sign a deal with the NHL.
